SCHOOL BUS AND 18 WHEELER ACCIDENT

Multiple injuries have been reported at a Houston freeway when a school bus and an 18 wheeler were involved in an accident.  The school bus was from the Cleveland Independent School District. According to the Houston Fire Department, which responded to the accident, 18 patients were transported from the scene on U.S. 59 at Will Clayton Parkway. The patients, ages 13 to 16, were taken to area hospitals "for precautionary reasons," officials said in a news release. Postal truck accident injures mother and child

HOUSTON – A mother and child were injured in a two-vehicle accident after a post office box truck ran a red light along the Gulf Freeway Wednesday morning. According to the Houston Police Department, it happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection of the southbound feeder road and Park Place. Police said the truck ran the red light and struck the mother's vehicle.
